Leider habe ich bis jetzt noch nicht meine bestellte Wolle für die Mystery Stole 3 bekommen, obwohl vor 2 Wochen bestellt. Daher, keine Mystery Stole für mich ... und keine Bilder ... zumindest vorläufig. Aber meine Zeit wird kommen .

Unfortunately I have not received my yarn order for the Mystery Stole 3 yet, although ordered 2 weeks ago. Hence no Mystery Stole for me ... no pictures ... at least for now. But, my time will come .

• Clue 3 des Mysteries fertig,
• Clue 4 wird heute fertig,
• bunten Pulli fertiggestellt (schon vor 2 Wochen *puhh - Zeit*)
  
• neuen Pulli angefangen
• und das Buch "Heiße Nadel" (im Original "Last-minute knitted gifts") erstanden - sehr, sehr nette Sachen.

Keine Zeit für Bilder gehabt...sorry...bin am Stricken . Wird nachgeliefert.

Mystery 3 bzw. 7 / Mystery 3 resp. 7 - Clue1

Der neue Mystery Shawl hat gestern begonnen. Offiziell ist es wohl der Dritte, aber für mich ist der Siebte in Renees Serie. Diesesmal benutze ich irgendein Mischgarn mit Leinen. Es lag in meinem Wollvorrat und ich kann es nicht mehr so genau zuordnen. Es ist ganz zart fliederfarben gemischt mit einem Faden in creme-weiß. Ach ja, das wird ein dreieckiger, von oben herunter gestrickter Shawl.

The new mystery has started yesterday. Officially it is called the 3rd one but to me it is the 7th in Renee's series. This time I use some undefined yarn from my stash with linen and merino, I guess. It is in pale lilac with one strand cream-white. By the way, this is going to be a triangular shawl knitted top-down.

Und da ist der 1. Hinweis. Ich finde ihn superschön und hoffe, dass der Rest auch so schön "löchrig" wird.

And here it is - the 1st clue. I love it because it is so lacy and airy. I hope that the rest of the shawl will have as many holes as in that clue.

Mystery 6 - Clue 4

Dieser Hinweis war toll zu stricken. Es hat Spaß gemacht, sich so viel merken zu müssen :-D Ich schaue selten auf die Charts. Irgendwie kann ich mir den Rhythmus merken. Hier war der Musterrapport aber schon ein kleines Gehirntraining. Super.

This clue was a super-knit one. It was fun to memorize all the stitch series :-D I seldom look at the charts while knitting. In some way I can remember the rhythm of the stitches. In this clue the pattern was a little bit of a challenge. A perfect brain workout.

Mystery 6 - Clue 3

Der 'Kern' des Shetlandtuches ist geschafft. Beim Stricken sah es erst so aus, als wäre Hinweis 3 nur eine Fortsetzung von Hinweis 2. Falsch gesehen :-D Beim provisorischen Spannen für das Foto kam das Muster richtig schön heraus. Ich bin gespannt, wie das Muster für die Randbordüre wird.

The 'heart' of the Shetland shawl is done. While knitting I thought that clue 3 is a mere continuation of clue 2. Thought wrong :-D The pattern evolved beautifully and different in every clue after provisional blocking the piece. I am curiuos what the border pattern will look like.

Mystery-Wolle / Mystery yarn

Ok, das sollte eigentlich Weiß sein ...????.... Ja, das habe ich auch gedacht, als ich die Wolllieferung inspizierte...und feststellte, dass ich die falsche Bestellnummer angegeben hatte. Nun habe ich eine Kone Wolle in einem seltsamen Blau. Ich hätte es mir nie wissentlich gekauft, aber es passt prima zu Jeans. Und da die Kone so herumsteht und nicht zu dem eigentlichen Projekt passt (das auch schon auf unbestimmte Zeit nach hinten verschoben wurde), wird sie in den Mystery Shawl 6 mutieren. Sollte die Farbe am Ende immer noch komisch sein, wird der fertige Shawl einfach gefärbt. Heute geht's los bzw. ich bin schon beim Stricken des ersten Hinweises :-)

Well, this should have been white yarn...???... yes, that what I thought too when I opened my yarn parcel...and discovered that I mixed up order numbers. Now I have a yarn cone in a very strange blue shade. Normally I never would have chosen this colour but, I have to admit that, it goes perfectly with jeans. While the yarn does not go with the originally planned project anymore (postponed to I do not know when) I will use it for the new Mystery Shawl 6. If the colour appears still strange to me in the end I will dye the completed shawl. Today the mystery starts, I am currently knitting the first clue :-)
