Montego Bay Schal / Scarf

So, hier der Montego Bay Schal aus Interweave Knits Summer 2007.
Material: Debbie Bliss Pure Silk, 2 Stränge
Änderungen: Da die Seide dicker als die Originalwolle ist, habe ich weniger Maschen aufgenommen und auch in der Länge stark gekürzt, da ich eher kurz bin :-D

Yarn: Debbie Bliss Pure Silk, 2 skeins
Modifications: Due to Debbie Bliss Pure Silk being thicker than the original yarn recommendation I casted on fewer stitches and I shortened the scarf, because I am not a tall person.

Uhhh, ich habe ein seeeeehr schlechtes Gewissen. Lange nichts geschrieben und noch weniger Fotos. Ich versuche mich zu bessern. Nur leider ist gar nicht so viel von den Nadeln gekommen. Ok, ich muss noch zumindest ein Foto vom fertigen letzte Mystery Shawl einstellen. Den aktuellen habe ich zwar abonniert, mache ihn aber nicht, weil...tadaa, wie so viele...Mystery Stole 3. Ich habe mit zwei Wochen Verspätung losgelegt und es kam viel in die Quere. Wie schon geschrieben kam die Wolle nicht, dann waren die nachgeorderten Perlen falsch. Hm, nicht falsch, nur passten von 300 neuen Perlen nur ca. 20% auf die dünnste Häkelnadel von Welt, keine dünnere kaufbar. Ich habe dann aus einer zweiten Quelle nochmals 400 bestellt, in der Hoffnung, dass das klappt (in meinem Vorrat haben alle über die Häkelnadel gepasst). Nee!!! Alle 400 zu eng. Nochmals 300 beim alten Versand bestellt. Wenigstens ein paar, die passen. Das wird schon reichen. Die waren ausverkauft mit Nachlieferung. Aber die Nachlieferung war's dann :-D Nun bin ich beim letzten Clue.

Well, I have very guilty conscience. Long time ago since I lasted posted something. I try my best from now on. Unfortunately I have not finishes so much stuff as I wanted. I have to post a good picture of the last mystery shawl as well. I subscribed to the current one but I am not participating, because....as many nearly everybody in the knitting community...mystery stole 3. I started 2 weeks belated and there got many things in my way. As mentioned before, the yarn came 2 weeks later than expected. Then the ordered beads were wrong. Hm, not really wrong but the bead holes for the yarn were too small or better to say smaller than the ones in my stash beads. Only 20% of 300 beads were ok. So I ordered again from another bead supplier, hoping that this order would fit (my stash beads were all ok, that's why I chose those beads). Nope!!! All 400 beads did not fit over the crochet needle. Again 300 beads ordered from the former dealer. At least a couple of them would work. And this time, whoohoo, perfect. Now I am knitting the last clue.

Mystery Stole 3

Mystery Stole 3 war super. Ich bin pünktlich fertig geworden, habe den Flügel gestrickt und bin happy mit dem Ergebnis. Hier die Bilder:

Mystery Stole 3 was fantastic. I finished the stole in time, knitted the wing and I am very happy with the outcome. Here are the photos:

Endlich - Mystery Stole 3 / Finally started - Mystery Stole 3

Oh Mann, ich dachte, ich könne niemals loslegen. Erst kam die Wolle nicht bei, dann habe ich mich für andere Perlen entschlossen, von denen ich nachbestellen musste. So habe ich ziemlich verspätet letzte Woche Samstag angefangen und bin jetzt im 2. Hinweis Reihe 4. Ich habe eine Merino-Viskose-Mischung und irisierende Tschechische Glasperlen gewählt. Diese Stola wird mich zu meiner Kreuzfahrt im Dezember begleiten :-)

Oh my, I thought, I would never start with this stole. First I did not receive my yarn, then I decided to use other beads than formerly chosen. And I had to order additional ones, because I had only around 80 in stock. So I started very belated last Saturday and got to the 4th row of clue 2 so far. I have chosen a merino-viscose/rayon blend and irisdescent czech glass beads. This stole will be with me on my sea cruise in december.

Leider habe ich bis jetzt noch nicht meine bestellte Wolle für die Mystery Stole 3 bekommen, obwohl vor 2 Wochen bestellt. Daher, keine Mystery Stole für mich ... und keine Bilder ... zumindest vorläufig. Aber meine Zeit wird kommen .

Unfortunately I have not received my yarn order for the Mystery Stole 3 yet, although ordered 2 weeks ago. Hence no Mystery Stole for me ... no pictures ... at least for now. But, my time will come .
